WINES OF THE TERRITORY
Tradition in every sip,
Apulia in every bottle
Botromagno was established in the Alta Murgia, an area of limestone soils, hills and natural ravines. Here, we grow native varieties and look after our vineyards with a careful and respectful approach, turning each vintage into wines that tell the story of our land.
Gravina DOC
The Gravina DOC wine represents the historical origin of our work. It is an appellation rooted in the territory of Gravina in Puglia, shaped by hilly soils, limestone outcrops and an agricultural heritage that has defined the winemaking identity of the area over time.
The amphorae
Botromagno’s monovarietal wines are born from selected vineyards and focused work on individual varieties. Each wine is the direct expression of a single plot: exposure, altitude, soil and plant behaviour are observed and interpreted to achieve a result that is faithful to the grape variety.
Puglia IGP
The Puglia IGP line expands our production with approachable and versatile wines, combining the experience gained in the Murgia with a broader interpretation of the regional territory.

The wines
Production that takes care of the land
Botromagno wines are the result of a continuing bond between man and vineyard. We carefully look after every small vineyard around the ravine, listening to the plants and enhancing the peculiarities of our soils. The land gives character; our daily work shapes the harmony. This creates wines that are linear, clean, and deeply connected to their origin.
Our roots
A history spanning more than 30 years
We have been producing wine in Gravina in Puglia for over 30 years. Our work is founded on knowledge of local grape varieties and respect for an environment that has a truly ancient agricultural history. Today we follow this path with a clear vision: to promote Murgia through wines that reflect its characteristics.

A recognition that confirms the direction we have taken and the value of the Murgia in the contemporary story of wine.
Man at the heart of the vineyard
The Alta Murgia Plateau National Park has been declared a UNESCO Geopark..
“The Alta Murgia Plateau is a place where human history is tangible in the intricate mosaic that outlines the landscape of stone, telling stories of wandering shepherds, farmers processing milk and wool and cultivating cereals, almonds and vines, but also telling stories of dinosaurs who roamed an ancient sea and ancestral men who lived with the first domesticated animals in the many caves that wind through the rocky ridges.”
Man at the heart of the vineyard
Every choice we make is born in the vineyard, guided by the experience and daily observation of the people who live and work there.
For Botromagno, quality is not a mechanical process, but a balance built through the work of those who know the land, interpret its signals and tend to it with care.
The team is the heart of the winery: a community of technicians, agronomists and viticulturists who, day after day, give shape to the identity of our wines.

The Alta Murgia is a place where human history is tangible in the intricate mosaic that shapes the landscape of stone, telling stories of wandering shepherds, of farmers engaged in processing milk and wool and in the cultivation of cereals, almond trees and vines — but also telling stories of dinosaurs that roamed an ancient sea and of ancestral men who lived alongside the first domesticated animals in the many caves that wind through the rocky ridges.
A recognised and protected territory
The Alta Murgia is a limestone plateau recognised as a UNESCO World Geopark. The ravines, with their breezy climate and significant temperature variations, define a unique environment for the vine. The proximity to the ravines brings cool air and slower ripening, allowing grapes to develop good natural acidity and well-defined aromatic profiles.
OUR TEAM
The operational heart of Botromagno
The value of our work comes from those who live the vineyard and the winery every day. The team brings together technical expertise, experience and a deep knowledge of the territory.
It is thanks to this group that every project takes shape with rigour, continuity and vision. A team effort that gives identity to our wines.
